Real paranormal photos which still cannot be explained

Some events are incredibly difficult to explain and there are some pictures which captured images in a way that still remain unexplained giving credence to the paranormal.

#1 Image in the rear-view mirror

This image shows a face in the mirror of the car and experts have claimed that the photo has not been tampered with. The photographer never saw anyone around the car even remotely resembling the figure in the mirror and the mystery remains beyond explanation.

#2 Tantallon Castle Apparition

This photo was taken in May 2008, at the Scottish castle. The image shows a person dressed in a costume which belonged to the period from which the castle was. Photography experts have denied any tampering with the photo and the castle management does not employ anyone who is supposed to wear that costume. The mystery remains unresolved.

#3 Granddad's chair

This image was clicked by the mother of the little child while they were visiting the granddad's house. The child, according to the mother, simply went to that chair and sat as if sitting on the granddad's lap but there was no one there. The mother clicked the photo as she found it cute but when the negative developed, they were shocked to find the apparition sitting on the chair.

#4 Right behind you

This photo was taken in 1997 by Denise Russell during a family picnic and the woman was his grandmother. No one in the family realized who the person standing behind her was until one day when they were just casually looking at old photos and figured that it was his granddad. His granddad had passed 10 years ago in 1987.

#5 Myrtles Plantation Ghost

The Myrtle plantation is known to house as many as a dozen ghosts and they have been sighted by many people. Clark Woodruff and her daughters were murdered in the house by the slaves they owned and this picture has been identified as that of Chloe's.

#6 The Sefton Church Spirit

This image shows an apparition which is believed to be that of a former church minister. At the time the photo was taken, there were only 2 photographers in the church and neither saw a thing until the photograph was developed and this image appeared.

#7 Ghost on the beach

A close look at the image reveals that there is an apparition, a hooded figure, which simply stands there at the beach. While some claim that the illusion was created due to the rock structure but the mystery remains as this same image was never captured again.

#8 St Thomas’s Hospital Ghost

This image was captured by paranormal investigator Jamie-Leigh Brown while her crew was investigating an abandoned hospital in Stockport, UK. The crew had to leave in a hurry when they heard footsteps on the floor above them but when they developed the photos they had taken, they saw this apparition of a doctor in the alley.

#9 Ted Danson and the ghost boy

It is believed that a boy had died during the shoot of Ted Danson's Three Men and a Baby. The picture in question appears to show a boy in the background whom no one knew nor was he a part of the script. It is believed that it may have been the dead boy's ghost.

#10 The Space Ghost

Jim Templeton was having a picnic with his family alone in a park when he captured this picture of his daughter. While the couple claimed that there was no one in the surrounding throughout their picnic and Kodak confirmed that the image has not been tampered with, the identity of the image behind the girl remains a mystery.

#11 Ghost in the backseat

In 1959, Mabel Chinnery and his wife were driving to visit the grave of his mother when his wife decided to take a picture of him driving the car. They were completely alone and the image of the person sitting behind Mabel was only realized after the photo developed. There was no tampering with the picture.

#12 The baby on the grave

This photo was captured in 1945 by the mother who just wanted to take a picture of her child's grave. The image appeared like this when the photo was developed and this was not her child either. It was also much late, in 1990, that paranormal investigators discovered that the nearby grave had two girl children buried.
